12 Days Bhutan Julmohari Trek

Hello Deepak and Alice.

Trust that both of you are keeping well.
Both my brother and myself enjoyed our Bhutan trek very much. Although we could not complete the trekking trip as one of the high pass was not passable due to snow, we could still experienced the beauty of Bhutan. Bhutan is also a very clean country and people are friendly.

The trekking crew was fantastic. Our trekking guide, Mr. Narbu, is a very experience guide. He is very patient and understanding. Mr. Narbu is also a very keen bird watcher. We enjoyed walking with him in the morning as he would point to us the various birds in the environment.

We must make a special mention of our trekking cook. He was very creative in his cooking and presentation of the food. For example, he cut the paper towel into some pattern before using the towel to hold the French fries and served the snack to us. We were particularly impressed with his deep fried noodles grazed with stir-fried vegetables and vegetable sauce. This noodle dish is commonly served in countries where there are substantially big Cantonese community. His grilled chicken drumsticks were very memorable. Although I was sick and I could not eat much, I could still tell that his cooking was really very good for a fussy eater like me. I was also a bit surprise that he speaks fairly good English.

We must thank you for arranging this trip for us. We were well taken care of and we enjoyed the trip very much.
