19 Days Annapurna Base Camp Trek with Nepal Extension

Hi Alice!

I’m back a work! It was a great experience. Thanks so much for organising.

The guidesin Nepal were excellent in their recommendations in places to visit, and they took great care of me. Rinji knew the trekking routes well, so he was able to provide me with good information on the routes. Along the route, he would advise on the food and drinks that I should take so that I could continue on the trek well. I nearly had a sore throat and flu once, and he advised me to take ginger tea, and also bought medicated oil. That is very appreciated. When we had gone up to Nagarkot, Dhruba had also helped arranged for me to stay in a guest house with an excellent view. The trip was well organized, and I was in very good hands. It was my first trip to Nepal and I appreciate the care that was provided, and the planning. I left my guides to do most of the planning, and it allowed me to rest. From my understanding, I was very fortunate to be able to witness the most beautiful sunrises (and sunsets) because the skies were clear. It was most excellent to be able to do so. I was also very glad to have the company of my guides and porter along the way.

My Nepal trekking trip was planned at the very last minute, but it was well organized based on the time provided. I think there would have been little much that could have made it better.

Nepal is a very beautiful country. It has so much potential! When I was climbing the mountains, all I could think of was my bed at home and sipping tea in a warm country. Now that I am back in Singapore, I definitely miss Nepal. It’s a very magical place and has so much charms and majesty! I will definitely want to go back to Nepal again. However, the Himalayas is very charming, and I would like to have the opportunity to experience it again. I have not thought about which part of Nepal I would like to explore. Perhaps I would try the Everest region, and also explore opportunities for voluntary work.
