Naudanda is also a gateway to Annapurna Conservation Area. The journey to Sarangkot, one of the paradises of Nepal, begins from Phedi village, nearly a 30 minutes drive from beautiful lakeside city of Pokhara. From here one trek alongside beautiful views of golden rice terraces the vast expanse of the Annapurna Mountain range. The overwhelming altitude differences between the Annapurna and Dhaulagiri ranges make Dhampus peak a very vantage spot to observe the mountains with Tukuche Peak 6920m and Dhaulagiri 8167m spectacularly close to you. When you emerge from the forest and reach Sarangkot, you will be able to marvel at exceptional view of massive Mt. Machhapuchhare.

Arrive Kathmandu
Upon arrival, meet and transfer to hotel. Check in & trek briefing. Late afternoon leisure walk in Thamel, a popular tourist district in Kathmandu Valley and a bustling bazaar which offers a glimpse of Nepal’s vibrant ethnic culture.

Kathmandu – Pokhara – Naudanda
After breakfast drive to Naudanda takes about 6 hours. Overnight at the lodge. This day we start early morning from Kathmandu as road journey will be a bit longer. Lunch will be on the way. Upon reaching Naudanda check in guest house. This Naudanda is a small village on the hill side and you can see whole Annapurna mountain ranges including Fishtail Mountain. Overnight at lodge.
Pokhara’s pristine air, spectacular backdrop of snowy peaks, serene lakes and surrounding greenery make it ‘the jewel in the Himalaya’, a place of remarkable natural beauty. It is also the gateway to the Annapurna region where many trekkers finds his Shangri-la, The mesmerizing Annapurna massif towering over the valley includes peaks over 8000m such as Machhapuchhre (Mt. Fishtail), Annapurna 1 to IV, Annapurna South, Dhaulagiri and Manaslu.

Naudanda – Sarangkot
Wake up in the morning and enjoy the breakfast with view of whole Annapurna Himalayan range. After breakfast start trekking to Sarangkot. It takes about 4 hours. The trail will be gradual up and down hill. The picturesque villages, the soft relief of the hills with their rice fields in terraces, subtropical forests, and the silhouette of the western Himalayas, make the charm of this place.
Upon reaching Sarangkot check in lodge. This is a simple lodge with very basic facilities. Afternoon short walk around the hill area and catch the beautiful sunset over the mountains. Dinner will be prepared by our crew. Overnight in lodge at Sarangkot.

Sarangkot – Pokhara
Early morning trek up to Sarangkot view point takes about 15 minutes. You can see very spectacular sunrise view of the whole Annapurna and Fishtail mountain ranges. After breakfast trek down about 1 hr and drive to Pokhara. check-in hotel and lunch.Afternoon city tour visit Tibetan Refugees’ camp, Devi’s Fall and Cave. After lunch enjoy walking around Lakeside and shopping.

Pokhara
After breakfast, a scenic drive up the hill to the World Peace Pagoda. This pagoda is situated on the top of a hill on the southern shore of Phewa Lake. It has four images of Buddha facing in our directions. The pagoda is an impressive sight and its hilltop location commands great view. It is a great vantage point, which offers spectacular views of the Annapurna range and Pokhara city. Drive takes about 45 min and about 15 min walk to the hill top.
After the tour drive back to Pokhara for Lunch.Afternoon an hour leisure boating at scenic Lake Fewa and visit Barahi Temple in the middle of the lake. Late afternoon enjoy walk around Lakeside Bazaar for some delightful shopping bargains.

Kathmandu
After breakfast enjoy a five hour scenic drive along Trisuli to Kathmandu. Lunch will be on the way. Upon arrival check in hotel. Afternoon free at leisure to explore Thamel.

After breakfast, visit Kathmandu Durbar Square (Old Royal Palace) and visit the Kumari Ghar where the goddess Kumari resides. This complex of palaces, courtyards and temples like Hanumandhoka Palace, Kumari Ghar (Abode of the Living Goddess), Taleju temple, built between the 12th and 18th centuries, used to be the seat of the ancient Malla Kings of Kathmandu.After lunch, visit Bouddhanath Stupa,one of the world’s largest Stupa built in the fifth century AD.
Afternoon explore Asan Tol. It is one of the most well-known historical locations in the city and is famed for its bazaar, festival calendar and strategic location. The bazaar attracts shoppers from all over Kathmandu because of the tremendous variety of merchandise sold here, ranging from foodstuffs, spices and textiles to electronics and bullion. Asan is also one of the popular tourist spots in the city because of its architectural sights and charming ambiance.
