Start the day climbing a pagoda for a first impressive view over the area with over 2000 stupas and temples. Continue your exploration of this amazing city and visit the Gubyaukgyi Temple, famous for its frescoes. Then head to Ananda, rated by many as the most beautiful in Bagan. Visit the uncompleted Dhammayangyi stupa and listen the chilling ghost stories!

Option 2: Catch the magical sunrise on top of a temple before taking a tour of the temples, when it is least crowded. Enjoy a picnic breakfast with lovely views of the temple and river before stopping by the local traditional market at its busiest.
This morning, head out to the countryside, visiting the local villages and their home industries. See the blacksmith working on an ox wheel, earthen-ware pottery, palm sugar production and the traditional way of cooking oil and farmers working on the fields. It would be an educational outdoor class for your children! Afterwards, enjoy a picnic lunch in the shade.
Enjoy some fun time chilling out at the hotel’s pool during the heat of the day before we take a boat ride down Ayeyarwady River for a different view of Bagan and enjoy a sundowner on a sandbank (if water level permits).
