8 Days In the Wilderness of Laos

Day 1

Arrive Vientiane

Arrive in Vientiane and be met by a Divine representative. Transfer and check in hotel. Afternoon city tour to Buddha Park and Victory Gate. Evening visit Night Market.

Day 2 | B

Vientiane — Vang Vieng

After breakfast, transfer to Vang Vieng by road (3 hrs drive). Check in hotel and lunch. Late afternoon sunset view with boat ride in the Vang Vieng River. Evening enjoy a short walking tour around the local market.

Day 3 | B

Vang Vieng

Early morning enjoy the most remarkable Hot Air Balloon Flight (1 hr) in Vang Vieng. Pick up at 6am from the hotel and short drive to take off point for boarding. You can see beautiful rural scenery, green mountain and its famous limestone formations. After that drive back to hotel for breakfast.

Vang Vieng is well known for its beautiful karst landscape with cliffs dotted with caves which we will visit after breakfast. You will be rewarded with an awesome panorama of Vang Vieng city as you reach the top. Late afternoon enjoy in the pool or spa & relax.

Day 4 | B, L, D

Vang Vieng- Luang Prabang

After breakfast drive to Luang Prabang (7 hrs). Enjoy a scenic long drive through Laos’ rustic hills and villages, agricultural plots and majestic mountain. Lunch on the way at a restaurant which offers a great panorama of the Laotian rural scenery. After lunch continue drive to Luang Prabang. Upon arrival check in hotel and relax in the pool or enjoy a luxurious spa at your own cost. Evening dinner in the hotel.

Day 5 | B

Luang Prabang

After breakfast transfer to Elephant Camp for 1 hour elephant ride and feeding. This one hour ride covers a short jungle walk and river crossing. You may be able to ride Elephant on your own. End of the ride back to the camp and feed the elephants. After that drive back to the city for lunch, you will have many lunch options along the Mekong River.

Visit the Royal Palace Museum in Luang Prabang which was once Laos’ Royal Palace. It houses interesting historical artifacts about Lao history and Laos’ royal. We then move on to the Golden Tree Monastery. This is built in 1560 c. This is the most historically significant and impressive Monastery of Luang Prabang.

Evening short hike about 100m up Mountain Phousi to view the great sunset over the Luang Prabang. Mt Phousi lies in the heart of the old town of Peninsula and is bordered on one side by the Mekong River and on the other side by the Nam Kham River.

After that back to hotel for some rest and relax with the option to visit the Night Market on your own.

Day 6 | B

Luang Prabang

After breakfast transfer to Hmong Tribe Village (45 min drive). Have a brief tour around the village and drive to Kuang Xi waterfall. Enjoy the picnic lunch. After lunch, enjoy swimming and water play in the natural pool and surroundings. Afternoon drive back to town. Rest of the day at leisure.

Day 7 | B

Luang Prabang- Vientiane

Morning after breakfast visit local cottage industry, where Lao ladies make the Lao textile with hand weave. You can also see the live weaving and you may also purchase their beautiful local textile products.

Transfer to city and free till afternoon. Afternoon transfer to airport and connect short flight to Vientiane. Upon arrival meet and transfer to hotel. Evening some free time to visit the Night Market.

Day 8 | B

Vientiane – Singapore

After breakfast visit Local Wet Market, after that free till departure to airport.
