Day 1
Arrival in Oman
Arrive at Muscat Airport and transfer to the hotel with English speaking driver.

MUSCAT – WADI BANI AUF – BIRKAT AL MAUZ – JEBEL AKHDAR
Breakfast at the hotel and check out. Start this tour with a drive to Barka, where you can watch the fishermen bring in their catch and sell it. Next stop will be the village of Nakhal with its large date palm gardens. The name Nakhal is derived from the Arabic word Nakheel which means date palms.
Visit the beautifully restored Nakhal Fort and continue to the hot springs of Ain Thowara, which is an ideal picnic spot and famous for its hot springs. From there turn towards the mountains and embark on an exciting off road trip into Wadi Bani Awf.

Enjoy the breathtaking mountain scenery and visit the village of Bilad Sayt known to be the most enchanting village in Oman. Proceed to Birkat Al Mauz, this pretty oasis has much to offer for sheer scenic value. The town is abutted up to the jabals and the anticlinal stratum directly behind gives the town its nick name “The Rainbow City”. There are ruins on a ledge and palm trees all around. Proceed to Jebel Akhdar and Enjoy a sightseeing tour in Jebel Akhdar, located 2000 metres above sea level on the Western Hajar Mountains. Due to the high altitude and moist atmosphere, the region is ideal for agriculture and farming. The villages in the region are blessed with greenery and vegetation, perhaps why these mountains are called the `Green Mountain’.

Day at Leisure.
Optional activities: Fill your daypack and set out on foot to discover the extraordinary beauty of Oman’s dramatic gorges, breathtaking scenery, and diverse natural landscapes – these hiking trails have something for everyone. NIZWA – WAHIBA SANDS
Breakfast in the hotel and check out.
Drive to Nizwa Region and visit the Nizwa Souk which has an expansive Souk showcasing a wonderful array of handicrafts – coffee pots, swords, leather goods, silverware, antiques, and household utensils. Proceed to Nizwa fort, completed in the 1650s, was the seat of power during the rule of the Al Ya ruba dynasty and is Oman’s most visited National monument. Drive to Sharqiya passing the enchanting Wadi Bani Khalid. Drive past the village with its endless date plantations. Feel free to plunge in and experience the crystal clear waters.
After swimming and lunch, drive to the vast expanse of the Wahiba Sands. The great Wahiba sands are longitudinal dunes 200 km long and 100 km wide running south from the Eastern Hajars to the Arabian Sea. You can venture up the high dunes and witness the unforgettable desert sunset.

WAHIBA SANDS – SUR – WADI TIWI – WADI SHAB – BIMAH – MUSCAT
Early morning camel sunrise ride and Breakfast at the Camp.
Proceed to Sur, the old African port where the old dhows (ships) were built by bare hands. Legend has it that this was the home town of famous “Sinbad, the sailor. Visit the Dhow yards where you might be able to dhows still being made or repaired with bare hands.
Just around the corner is Wadi Tiwi. Justifiably famous as another beautiful Wadi in Oman. Driving or walking along the bottom of the steep gorge, You follow the stream, which rises in the mountains above, as you climb higher and higher through palm groves and a small village. If lucky, you may see the brilliant blue flash of a kingfisher.
Later, you will have photo stop at “Wadi Shab”. Lunch at Wadi Shab Resort. After lunch, head towards to “Bimah sinkhole”, a geological formation of the karst topography and a scenic wonder. Return to Muscat for overnight stay.
Day 6 | B
Departure
After breakfast you will be transferred to Muscat Airport for departure.
