Day 1 | Zagreb Arrival (-)
Upon arrival to Zagreb airport, our driver will meet you and transfer to the hotel right in the city centre. Zagreb is a wonderful central European city, a blend of Viennese and Hungarian architectural styles and a Metropolis of a human scale. Often overlooked by travellers, Zagreb could easily surprise you as one of the highlights of your trip. It is the relaxed atmosphere and immediacy of enjoyment of life that make all the difference.
Depending on the time of your arrival, we suggest you take a short walk around the city centre and visit the Central square. If you are up to getting to know the history of this city, visit The Zagreb City Museum. The exhibition shows the past of the City of Zagreb, from prehistory, traces of which were recently uncovered under the very building of the museum itself, to the present day.
Day 2 | ZAGREB (BLD)
Meet your private local guide and discover the town by walking through its bustling downtown streets. Visit the Cathedral, the Stone gate, St. Mark’s church, the historic Upper town, the colourful grocery market, the Central Square and lively Tkalčićeva Street with its numerous charming cafes and restaurants. Zagreb hosts excellent music and street art festivals in Spring, Summer and Autumn, whilst during the Winter it is awarded as The Best Advent festival city in Europe.

Our foodie expert guide will take you through a maze of streets in Emperor Diocletian’s palace, Jewish Ghetto and old Split downtown. Avoiding expensive restaurants or tourist traps, try finger food delicacies ( at your own expense) prepared and sold by local women on open grocery market, nibble on seafood snacks prepared near the fish market, and enjoy traditional homemade prosciutto ham & cheese in a bar surrounded with locals discussing on daily football and politics.
